News & Events   Introducing TTC's HDC Series Airborne, Rugged High-Definition Cameras

TTC has developed an airborne-rugged High Definition (HD) camera for the test engineering community. The design exhibits a rugged camera body that can withstand the harsh environment of airborne equipment testing and a powerful digital camera that captures full high definition videos in 1080p resolution. With its miniature size; the enclosure dimensions are 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.8 inches, the HDC-330 and HDC-310 cameras are able to be mounted in virtually any situation that arises on an aircraft in any test condition.

The TTC high-definition series camera design provides a unique solution for applications where space is at a premium, including airborne, automotive and ground testing. The fast exposure quickly adjusts to changing light. The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) imaging assures high accuracy by removing over and under saturation artifacts. The HDC-330 and HDC-310 cameras have an HD-SDI and CVBS (NTSC/PAL) output at 1080p60 video resolution. The HDC-310 has a 12V DC Isolated power input and the HDC-330 uses aircraft power; +28V DC.

The camera is designed to work with TTC's new specialized Advanced Data Server Recorder (ADSR-4003F) that will capture the video and transform and accurately time-stamp the video to H.264 format for recording and video server applications.
